Molly Morphew (B. Sydney, Australia) is a visual artist working in the media of performance, sculpture and video. Her practice examines themes of the self, states of being, temporality and bodily experience. In search of an authenticity, her artworks delve into the realms of alchemy and the human psyche. They aim to dissect, isolate and expose the intimate layering and surface conditioning of the individual in order to cause ruptures of the innate cycles within which we exist.
