“ My art Informed by a biology background and printmaking methods, concerns contemplation of the ways we affect the plants and animals around us, and, sometimes how we may be affected by them. Most recently plastic is repurposed and evolves into creatures from the congregation of trash by the ocean gyres.
The excessive process I use in my work evokes a quality of human over manipulation. My intent is to create work that will engender thought about the relationship between humans and their surroundings.”
The event starts at 7pm with an artist talk by Margaret Craig followed by Yang Lim’s curator’s talk.
We are looking forward to meet you all!
