I am a figurative painter inspired by Flemish Baroque and French Rococo. My latest series of paintings portrays people both clothed and draped with nude figures of themselves in the background. The nude figures, which represent the sub-conscious, bring a surreal element to the work. I currently live and work Bethesda, Maryland, a suburb of Washington DC and teach painting and drawing to adults at my local community college.
