Irene Nerys was born in 1990, in Italy. She works as a performer and dancer in Paris.She has been performing as actress and dancer, meeting great directors and masters of the contemporary world of theatre: Societas Raffello Sanzio (festival Puerilia 2014), Motus Company (festival Biennale of Venice 2013), Roger Bernat (festival Biennale of Venice 2016) etc.; she has been also creating and directing two plays: “In front of the Law” in 2012 (adaptation of Kafka’s parabole) and “Le mille e unanotte” with the support and the production of Teatro Elettra, in Rome. She has recently studied GAGA, Ohad Naharin’s dance language in Israel, with his company “Batsheva” and Hofesh Schechter’s repertoire with Hofesh Schechter’s company.
Since 2015 she is member of the International Dance Council of the UNESCO.
“A Doll Face” is her new solo show, a deep reflection on the modern world, the contrast in between reality and virtuality, free will and democracy.
