Maria Ladias

Maria Ladias is an emerging artist based in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. Her work engages with the cultivation of the self and what it is like to relate to ones own identity, other people and the spaces we occupy. Maria uses playful and dark imagery to depict the varying dynamics of intimacy, vulnerability and the massive amounts of guesswork it takes to exist
