Rebecca Schuchat

Rebecca Schuchat is an illustrator, animator, filmmaker and comics artist. In 2016
she received BFA in Film/Television Production from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Drawn to time based mediums, Schuchat’s work focuses on the visual depictions of the overlap between the past and the present within narrative structures. Reflecting on the varying and often ambiguous relationships between place, body and memory, Schuchat’s work embraces the intimate vulnerability of personal storytelling through investigating (and at times inventing) her own Jewish past and examining its intersection with feminism.
