Sara Sisun is an artist and scholar from Boulder, Colorado. She holds an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, an MA from the University of Colorado, and a BA from Stanford University. Currently she is interested in the history of comparative anatomy and it’s implications for racial science and the construction of the academic humanities. At the residency she is working on a series of paintings exploring the intersection between critical history, science, and figurative painting.
