Sam Hatfield and Fiona Skelton jointly practice across diverse artistic languages including video, performance, dance, installation, spoken word, illustration and music. The overarching premise of their collaborative practice is to use the unexpected and surreal to deconstruct provocative psychological and social constructs within an existential framework.

Their current work “The Cult of Love” uses absurdist narratives and aesthetics to explore the possibility of an independently co-existent consciousness arising out of their mutual experience within an intimate relationship, drawing from the hypothesis of a decentered and non-causal nexus between mind and body.
